2012 Goals

Monday, February 13th, 2012

I know, I know. The new year started over a month ago and it’s the day before Valentine’s Day. Surely, you’d think, I could come up with a more timely writing exercise for this Monday.

Well, you’d be wrong :-p

It was when I was looking over my list of goals for 2012 that I realised we, as a writing community, hadn’t shared our 2012 writing goals with one another yet this year. We should fix that.

What are your goals for 2012?

What are you doing to help yourself reach them?

How is it going so far?

Tieing It Together

Monday, February 6th, 2012

If you’ve been playing along with my lists this year you should have:

  1. A list of 10 Band Names
  2. A list of Things Found in a Drawer
  3. Titles

Here’s where we tie them all together. Circle the items you find the most interesting. Jot down all the words and thoughts that come into your head.

Set a timer for 15 minutes and start writing.

Sometimes baby steps will help us reach our writing goals. :)
