Image Prompts

These images were too perfect to pass up, but too expensive for me to license for just this prompt. Thus, I’m doing the link thing rather than the ‘post a picture’ thing. Clicking is worth your time. Honestly.

In these two images we have the same model, in the same setting wearing the same dress, and yet the mood is completely different between them. Your challenge is to use one, or both of these images as the inspiration for a story or poem. Keep atmosphere in mind as you are writing.

I’m a day late with this writing prompt and I apologise. My excuse is that I had a very busy day yesterday with a sick husband and a book release. It’s a bit of a lame excuse, but it’s all I’ve got :)

This “Monday” we have an image prompt. Write a story or poem inspired by one of these images.

What do the signs say?

Signs
What do those signs say? Write text for them (including the big banner in the foreground) and then, if you’re feeling inspired, write a story to go with the picture. Write about the protest, perhaps, or pick one of the characters and write about them. Have fun with it.
