Silversong is out here winning awards, you guys!
First it was a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. That is super cool — it comes with stickers that I can put on its cover and also a medal. The only other medal I’ve ever had in my life came from not dying after running 5km. To get a medal for my book is amazing.
But wait, there’s more!
It was also the inaugural winner of the 2026 CANREADS Fantasy Award. That comes with more stickers and a freaking trophy!

None of my books have ever won anything before–a couple of my short stories have, but they didn’t come with trophies. This is definitely my first ever trophy 🙂
